Christopher Hall, AIA, NCARB

Principal

Christopher Hall founded his practice in 1990, shortly after completing an apprenticeship that focused primarily on residential homes and additions on Nantucket Island. It was during this apprenticeship that Chris fell in love with residential architecture and the New England shingle style aesthetic. Over the last 30 years, Chris has worked on a wide range of residential projects in Metro West Boston and on the coasts of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Florida. His life-long passion for design, construction, and craftsmanship continues with the building his own family’s house in Little Compton, Rhode Island. Chris enjoys fly fishing, furniture making, and motorcycling the back roads of New England.

Allison Johnson, AIA, NCARB

Project Manager/ Architect

Allison has over ten years experience in architecture working on commercial interiors, neighborhood planning, and commercial & residential design. With experience built from a diverse background, her more recent years of practice have focused her true passion – custom residential design. Throughout the design process, Allison highly values a collaborative relationship with her fellow architects and her clients. She is both a licensed architect and a Certified Passive House Consultant. Outside of the architecture, Allison enjoys playing the piano, motorcycling, and designing jewelry.

Eva Leung, AIA

Project Manager/ Architect

Eva Leung has over 10 years of experience in design and project management. Her experience ranges from commercial interiors, high-end single-family housing to mixed use high rise in the United States, Singapore, and the Middle East. Prior to joining Christopher Hall Architects, she was an associate for award-winning firms 212box LLC, Peter Rose + Partners and Perkins+Will [NYC]. A certified permaculture designer since 2014, she is also the Co-Founder for Massachusetts based non-profit Terra Cura Inc., a consultant at Regenesis Group, and guest faculty for the Omega Institute Eco-Literacy Immersion Program. Outside of design, Eva enjoys practicing Muay Thai, Brazilian Jujitsu and baking decadent treats.

Carson Hall

Project Manager / Designer

Carson joined Christopher Hall Architects in 2019 and shares the firm’s passion for custom residential design. He brings extensive experience to the team, having worked previously in Los Angeles on several award-winning high-end residential and boutique hospitality projects. In addition to project management, Carson oversees BIM technology at the firm, and is constantly looking for ways to better integrate multi-disciplinary information. His understanding of materiality and scale drives his design approach, and he is passionate about crafting elegant, transformative spaces that align with client ambitions. During his time with the firm, Carson has worked on the realization of multiple residences, many involving the contemporizing of classic New England form. In addition to all things design related, Carson enjoys surfing, adventure riding and photography.
